Nina Margolis, OD
Nina Margolis, OD, has practiced optometry for 33 years, with 24 years of private
practice in Mill Valley. In 2020, COVID closed down many businesses, including her independent practice. Not ready to retire, still enjoying her work and many long-time patients, she downsized her office. She now sees patients at Wink Optics in Mill Valley and San Anselmo.
Dr Margolis is a graduate of UC Berkeley School of Optometry, class of 1989, and has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from UC Irvine. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and California Optometric Association. She sees patients of all ages, specializing in contact lenses and meeting your visual needs in today’s computer specialized world.
Outside of the office, Dr Margolis enjoys gardening, hiking, yoga, and visiting her 3 adult children. You may catch a glimpse of her hiking in Mill Valley with her dog Lilly.
Timothy Tandrow, OD
Dr. Timothy Tandrow graduated from the School of Optometry at the University of California, Berkeley with high honors. He is a member of both the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association. After he graduated, he was on staff at Presbyterian Hospital (now CPMC) in San Francisco. He then concurrently had Optometry practices on Montgomery Street and Market Street in the Financial District of San Francisco for 35 years.
Dr. Tandrow is licensed to provide comprehensive eye examinations as well as to prescribe hard and soft contact lenses. He is also licensed to prescribe therapeutic drugs for the treatment of ocular pathological conditions. Dr. Tandrow has special interests in complex contact lens fitting and pre and post-operative LASIK and cataract evaluation and management.
In his free time, Dr. Tandrow loves spending time with his wife of 43 years, Carlyn, and the families of their grown children. His three grandsons bring him joy beyond words! His golf game is improving and he loves to garden. He is an avid reader about new advances in medical technology, aeronautical engineering and space technology. He is looking forward to seeing the first photos from the James Webb Space Telescope.
